Just like laundry carpet is a fabric and sometimes additional products are needed to remove odors. To remove the odor you must treat it for it. This will only make it worse. If you are like me i always used the hottest water possible.

Firstly most carpet cleaning uses water. Even after a carpet cleaning the smell of pet urine may return. Only a select number of carpets out there do require these ingredients to work.
